Many people who are blind and visually impaired have aspirations of starting their own company. Often, this idea leads to more questions than answers. What software tools are accessible? Which shopping cart or payment solution should you use? What about accounting?
At CSUN 2015, J.J. and Ted Drake from Intuit presented a session titled "Small Business in a Box: Enabling Entrepreneurship with Accessible Tech". The session talks about a new resource Called BizAbility which seeks to collect resources and articles to answer questions like the ones listed above.
BizAbility is not only for business owners---it's for anyone who wants to be employed, as the tools and resources cover a wide variety of areas. Think of it as the AppleVis of business resources.
This week's Qast brings you the CSUN presentation in its entirety. We hope you enjoy it. If you'd like, you can follow along by viewing the presentation.
If you have insights or resources to share, consider becoming a BizAbility contributor.
We're back next week with our 2015 best-of show and yes, some outtakes as well. Have a Merry Christmas and enjoy the holidays.
