Blind Bargains

Who Exactly is NeoAccess?

Yesterday, we posted a story about NeoBraille, a new Android-based braille notetaker which will debut at CSUN. The company behind the product is a relative unknown in the United States, so we took some time to learn a bit more about them.
NeoAccess is the creators of the ReadEasy Move and Readit Wand, two low-vision products formerly sold by GW Micro in the United States and also represented by VisionAid International and HumanWare Australia among others. They also created the Japanese translation for Window-Eyes in 2014 and sell Korean and Japanese language versions of the screen reader.
They are also dealers for other products including the recently-released Plextalk Linio Pocket, portable video magnifiers and braille embossers. Here's their website, which is only available in some Non-English translations.
