As I reported in March, the RNIB hosted their region's version of the Onkyo Braille Contest. However, if you were looking to enter the contest and live in North America, for example, you couldn't enter in to the contest at that time.
The NFB is again collecting entries for North America for this essay contest. According to the source link, "Essays must be written by contest participants, in English or their native language, in Braille, and must be completely original in nature. Entries should be no fewer than 800 words and no more than 1,000 words in length." Follow the aforementioned link to download an application and to learn more information. The deadline for entries is June 30.
