The Onkyo Braille Essay Contest Returns with $2,000 Top Prize for Braille Essays


If you are a good braille writer and have a story to tell, you may be able to win $2,000 from Onkyo.
The NFB is again collecting entries for North America for the annual Onkyo Braille Essay Contest. According to the source link, "Essays must be written by contest participants, in English or their native language, in Braille, and must be completely original in nature. Entries should be no fewer than 800 words and no more than 1,000 words in length."
Essay topics are more varied than in the past and include a variety of ideas around how braille has been a part of your life. Or perhaps you have a humorous story to tell about braille. Whatever your pleasure happens to be, follow the source link to download an application and to learn more information. The deadline for entries is August 28.
