Here's one of those items that sounds really cool, but would have to be tested in practice to see how well it works. Buy.com has the IrisPen Executive Pen Scanner for $94.99 with free shipping after two rebates totaling $75. The claim is that this scanner will input text directly into a Windows or Macintosh computer, in other words, it has OCR built-in to the pen. Roll the pen down the page to input the text with a claimed 99 percent accuracy. Deal ends February 18.
