This all looks rather interesting, but there's one thing that was not mentioned at all, and that is better web page support. Window-Eyes fairs poorly in both Internet Explorer and Firefox on advanced web pages, particularly those using dynamic content via Javascript. I'm hoping they just didn't mention that, but if this isn't fixed soon there might not be a window-eyes for much longer. The web is becoming the medium of choice for many, and if Window-Eyes can't keep up with this, it will inevitably die. Compare Window-eyes and the open source NVDA on the web, and you'll see a difference between night and day. It's sad, as I've been a Window-Eyes user for years and remember when they had the absolute best web support around. I guess the moment of truth will come with the betas. I, for one, can't wait to find out.

so, can anyone clarify if this means that the new interface will finally do away with the need to use the antequated text2set and set2text utilities to make changes to all applications at once? something as simple as making the insert+escape key combination refresh the screen no matter what application you are in is an unnecessarily complicated process in Window-eyes right now. If 7.5 will allow such a change to be made globally without using set2text and text2set that's a reason to get excited about this upgrade in and of itself.
