The Haptica Braille Watch is a new conceptual design featuring refreshable braille to present the time to the user. Inventor and product designer David Chavez is behind a major fund raising push to make such a watch a reality and is currently raising money on Kickstarter.com to make the watch a reality. In this audio interview, we speak with him and learn more about the watch and how you could potentially own one of the first Haptica watches for yourself.

Category: ApparelIs this different from the interview/info posted a couple weeks ago? Is Kick Starter still an option for the Haptica watch? I'd love to see this become a reality, but its difficult to donate money when you don't know if it'll ever actually be made. It would serve a very small niche, those who read braille and don't like the nuisance of talking watches, but I'd love one!

They did not reach their Kickstarter goal but I know David is still working on the idea. You may be able to contact him through the links on the Kickstarter page. We'll post updates as we receive them as well.
