#csun11: Clues Hint at Possible Mobile Data Connectivity in Levelstar Orion

Not much is known yet about Levelstar's forthcoming Android notetaker but some clues in the press release have led to speculation. We were able to have a quick phone conversation with Guido Corona, Levelstar's Director of Marketing who was very excited about the upcoming launch. The unit is in alpha testing currently and is known to contain some sort of word processor and use Ivona's text-to-speech. But several other goodies will be included according to
Corona, who declined to name specifics. The unit will likely include home-grown apps as well as the ability to run other Android applications. Option Wireless Technologies is listed as one of the partners in the project. Option provides wireless broadband and mobile solutions, so perhaps a cellular data connection of some sort is in the works. No price point has been set for the product as of yet. We've scheduled an interview for CSUN and will post more as we learn of it.
