Sirius XM Confirms Rate Hikes for Add-ons

If you have a subscription for Sirius XM, the good news is that the basic monthly fee will not go up in the near future. But on March 11, the fee for using an additional receiver will jump $2. In addition, the online version of the service, which is currently a free offering, will now cost $2.99 per month, albeit for a higher quality feed. In all reality, the basic $12.95 price probably would have jumped as well if it wasn't for the conditions specified when the companies merged. The merger agreement guarantees that price for 36 months from the date of the merge. Via Sirius Buzz
