Note: The seller lists this as a Basic D, but the D is a double-sided embosser and the item is described as single-sided. Auction ends March 31.

For a reader, Bargain Bob has found an IBM 17-key PS/2 numeric keypad for $9.95 from an Ebay store. Shipping adds about $6. It's one of the cheapest deals we found for a new PS/2 numeric keypad. It'll work with any laptop or desktop with a PS/2 port, though some newer laptops do not, so check your machine first.

We've posted many cell phone deals for Verizon, Cingular, and others but never a good phone for Sprint. This phone features the same voice-command technology found on the Verizon LG phones making many features accessible. Humanware Announces My Reader 2



Humanware has announced some vast improvements to its My Reader system for low-vision users. The My Reader 2 includes Multi-page storage with a 10-page memory. Also, the release claims that the new reader will take streams of words and reorganize them in a way that is more suitable for reading, such as in a single column or row. Telesensory Returns with new Vertex-1 Magnifier



Telesensory, now with new owners, has returned to the scene with their first new product. The Vertex-1, a semi-portable magnification system weighing less than 5 pounds, is being shown at CSUN. If you're trying to justify the cost of a flash drive compared with an external hard drive, there are several advantages to flash drives including less power consumption, smaller size, and the lack of moving parts.

D-Link Phone Adapter for Vonage for $125.01 Profit after Rebate (expired)



CircuitCity.com has the D-Link Vonage Phone Adapter for $49.99. With new service activation, use a mail-in rebate of $175 and receive $125.01 profit. It's one of the best deals we've seen for new Vonage service. Vonage is one of the largest providers of broadband telephone service. Rebate ends April 7.

Seagate 750GB Internal Hard Drive Plummits to $241.99



Newegg.com has the openbox Seagate Barracuda 750GB Internal Hard Drive for $241.99. With about $6 for shipping, it's the cheapest 750GB drive we've ever seen. Although this drive is advertised as an openboxed model, it still carries the usual 5-year manufacturer's warranty.

New Notetaker, Braille Displays from GW Micro



Jeremy reports on the GW Micro blog about some forthcoming press releases from the company. The Voice Sense will be a voice-only version of the Braille Sense PDA. Also, a new USB braille display, called SyncBraille, will be available, in a 20 and 32-cell version. A new camera enhancement for the SenseView low-vision magnifier was also announced. We'll post official press releases as they become available.
