Version 2.7.3 of KNFB Reader App for iOS Adds a Potentially Useful Feature for Fans of Physical Buttons

Version 2.7.3 of the KNFB Reader app for iOS has received one small but potentially very useful feature

This release lets you take a picture by pressing the Volume Up button on your device. This would also work by pressing the Volume Up key on a Bluetooth keyboard or remote if you have one. The key command only works on the main Take a Picture screen. Similarly, users can press Volume Down to activate the Field of View report, which will tell you how much of the page is visible and if it is rotated.

In addition, support for the Czech language has been included along with some other bug fixes. We've included the changelog below.

What's New in Version 2.7.3

New app icon and splash screen added;
Czech user interface language added;
Fixes a crash some users experienced when taking a picture;
The "volume up" button will now take a picture and the "volume down" button will execute field of view;
*Fixes some minor issues with voice-over accessibility.

Yippee!!!! This will be so much easier than trying to hold the device and double tapping at the same time to take a picture. Now, if we could only get Apple to use the home button on the phone to answer and hang up calls, (I've made that suggestion before) we'd have it made!
