HumanWare has released version 1.3 of the software for the Victor Reader Trek, and current users will want to update before March 31.
This version's main update is a faster GPS connection which should mean that your location will be recognized more quickly. In addition, a new license key is required to use the maps, since the current one expires at the end of the month. HumanWare recommends updating before March 31 for the smoothest performance.
Here's the short list of changes:
- Faster GPS connection time: We’ve made improvements to the way we communicate with GPS satellites. Your VictorReader Trek will now connect faster than ever.
- License Key: You will need to update to version 1.3 that contains the new license key for the maps used for the GPS before March 31st to ensure a seamless experience with VictorReader Trek’s GPS Mode.
