The new Asus EEE PC is a stylish, but tiny laptop computer with some interesting features. For one, its main hard drive is solid-state, meaning there is no moving parts. This model features a 4GB drive, plenty for your operating system and some programs. And you could connect a USB hard drive or flash drive for your music, documents, or anything else that won't fit internally. Measuring at only 7 inches, it comes with a version of Linux, but one could easily install Windows instead. Amazon has the EEE for $399.99, shipped free, the lowest price we could find. We'll post more about this interesting new computer as we find it. Update, after temporarily raising their price to $429, it is again listed at $399.
