New setting in iOS 13.4 introduces always-on Hey Siri option

Want to have Hey Siri available, even if your phone is face down or covered? Now you can.

Prior to iOS 13.4, if your iOS device was covered or face down, Hey Siri requests would be ignored. As of the recent iOS 13.4 beta, expected to be released to the public soon, a new accessibility setting enables Hey Siri functionality regardless of the position of the iOS device.

To enable this functionality, first make sure that your iOS device is running either the beta of iOS 13.4, or the release version when its available. Then go to settings>accessibility>Siri, located near the bottom of the screen. Then enable the "always on hey siri" toggle.

If you don't want to run iOS beta software, stay tuned here for an announcement of when iOS 13.4 officially becomes available to the public.
