The pre-convention news is pouring in with full force now. We reported at ATIA about the Trekker Breeze, Humanware's simplified GPS solution. Well, it's now officially shipping for the announced $895 price tag. Basically, it's a gPS receiver without the advanced features of the Trekker and seems to be targeted at people who would just like a machine to tell them where they are and what's around them without lots of complicated commands and buttons. Indeed, this unit may be ideal for computer novices or those who don't wish for more advanced solutions. It's also the cheapest stand-alone GPS system available. We'll take a look at this later in the week, and post our impressions.
