This item does not talk as much as some of the more expensive models, but does speak the current temperature and some of the setup instructions. It offers both weekday and weekend programs. It works with most standard heating systems. We have at least one report of a successful installation of this unit. While it does not speak as much as other models, it is also about a quarter of the price.
