New Free Service Enables Sharing of Braille Books

Much activity has resulted from the 200th anniversary of the birth of Louis Braille. Now, the National Federation of the Blind has launched NFBShareBraille.org, a free service allowing anyone to give or receive braille materials. Those with books to share can post a listing on the free site. If you're looking for a book, browse the available listings and request the one you want. Books currently posted range from children's titles to textbooks. While the selection is quite small now, we expect it to grow quite a bit as word gets around. Membership in the NFB is not required to use the service.
