With all of the talk of stream 3.0, the Book Sense, and Orator, this announcement from Lexmark has slipped under the radar a bit. But Lexmark's new accessibility solution, titled the Lexmark Accessibility Solution (creative, eh?) will offer blind and visually impaired users access to touch-screen MFP devices such as scanners, copiers, and fax machines. The user sets up a job on a Windows PC or even a BrailleSense and then goes over to the Lexmark device to start it. It's refreshing to see some access to these increasingly complicated machines. We don't have price information yet, but I'm thinking not that cheap. Somebody prove me wrong.
