Updates to NVDA, the free, open-source screen reader are being posted quite often, but they sometimes include bugs and are not recommended for a commercial environment. Now, the latest stable release brings many of the latest improvements to a wider audience. NVDA 2009.1 offers official support for 64-bit operating systems, Windows 7, and the UAC security screens as well as improved support for Adobe and Internet Explorer.
