GW Micro has announced the release of version 2.0 for the Booksense and Booksense XT portable book reader/media player.
A sampling of the new features include three types of marks (normal, audio, and highlight), an audio preview feature for voice memos, more time jump interval settings, a new movies folder, the ability to properly handle audio books broken up into multiple files, improved stability, and hotkeys to toggle the Bluetooth status and sleep timer.
RFB&D audiobook support is also included, though the user keys are currently not yet available from RFB&D. They should be available by January 11, according to GW Micro. Version 2.0 will be a free update for all U.S. Booksense users. Update: link fixed.

Awesome news! Will probably upgrade my unit later this week! And good to know that RFB&D support is there, though I just hope they live up to their promise on user keys and their availability.
