Orbit Research is a virtual unknown in the assistive technology research. Some students and people in careers which require lots of mathematic computations may be familiar with the Orion Scientific Calculator, but their latest product release, the iBill Talking Banknote Identifier, has caught the attention of a much wider audience, including our panel where it ranks at number 11 for 2009. While the ability to accurately identify money is nothing new, the price point is certainly attention-grabbing at under $100.
