According to this official press release from Serotek, users signing up for a Build a Bundle plan starting at $9.95 per month will receive the Eloquence speech synthesizer as a part of their access for free, a $25 value. Alternatively, users of the free System Access to Go offering, Serotek's free web-based screen reader, can purchase Eloquence for $40 for use with this service. No end date is given.

It's a bit odd that they actually charge for Eloquence given that it's essentially the de facto standard tts engine when it comes to Windows screen readers. Even though they're offering it free for a time the move itself seemed odd to me. I never liked eloquence much personally, it always sounded to me like a robot with a permanent head cold and plugged nose. DECTalk is, in my opinion, better though perhaps that's because I grew up with hardware DECTalk synthesizers and grew accustomed to it.
