GW Micro and Hims Headed toward Divorce

After six years, the honeymoon between GW Micro and Hims has passed. Hims has opened a United States office in Austin and will no longer rely on GW Micro to perform salesand support duties. Hims is makers of the Sense line of notetakers and digital book players and already was managing distribution to other countries. According to a quote from a GW Micro press release, "GW Micro worked very hard to improve these products during these past several years
and we greatly appreciate the support of our customers. Your feedback helped make
these products what they are today." This move has been anticipated by some for several months, dating back to Him's booth presence at the CSUN conference in San Diego. GW Micro will no longer sell these products within a few weeks.

Perhaps this is a good thing. Now maybe GW Micro can get back to fixing the major issues in Window-Eyes, their own product.
