Braille through Remote Learning offers a free online tool to learn how words are contracted in braille. Over 45,000 words are included, and the translations were provided by Duxbury. We tested it with some common exceptions such as mistake and childish and received the correct translations. The contractions are displayed visually and written as dot numbers so are compatible with access technology.
