Amazon.com has the Epson Perfection V30 Flatbed Scanner for $59.50. With free shipping, we couldn't find it for less elsewhere. As for OCR, we like this scanner for its fast acquisition times, roughly 6-8 seconds per page as tested with Omnipage. It should be compatible with all major scanning and OCR programs. This one sits in our office and is used often.
