Blio, the book reading app from KNFB Reading Technology, is now accessible on the Android operating system. The app was initially plagued with problems but the latest version solves these and is no self-voicing with any installed text-to-speech voice. Get it for free from the Android market. Blio is also accessible using iOS but accessibility challenges remain for the Windows version.

I can't help but wonder if anyone cares about Blio anymore. It has an exceedingly small catalog as to other reading solutions and, with accessibility still a challenge on Windows of all platforms (and this by a company that claims to be in business for the soul purpose of accessible reading solutions), the whole thing seems to be a bit of a bad joke by now.

A question: Is BLIO equivalent to Voice Dream Reader? And is there an android version of Voice Dream Reader? If not, I wish there was.
