This item combines several functions into one box. It acts as an external hard drive, connecting via a network port on a router or with a USB cable. It also can connect directly to a TV or stereo system and play just about any media format including MP3, OGG, AVI, and JPG. This means that you can use it as a media player without the need for turning on your computer. A remote is also included.
