HumanWare Lowers Prices on BrailleNote NOtetakers by Roughly 20 Percent

HumanWare has announced price reductions for their flagship Apex line of notetakers. The 18-cell models of the QT and BT are now selling new for $3,895 while the 32-cell models sell for $5,495. This is a roughly 20 percent reduction over the former prices. Also, HumanWare appears to be discontinuing the use of SMA's, following companies like Hims who offer free upgrades. Those with current SMA counts can get a $100 credit for each SMA count remaining, good to use toward Humanware products in 2013.
