Every fall, the American Printing House releases their annual report highlighting research and development activities and future plans, and it often provides a glimpse of what's to come. Of note, APH is investigating the feasibility of adding support for protected WMA and RTF files into the Book Port Plus as well as support for the Math ML mark-up language. As for the Braille Plus 18, the goal appears to offer an upgrade using Android 4.3 as wel as gaining approval from Google to use Google Play for downloading apps. Other improvements to be explored include a spell checker for the word processor, a graphing calculator app, and an RSS reader. We've linked to the full report in this post.
