Humanware has released a free update to the Trekker Breeze portable GPS system. Version 1.2 includes points of interest lookup and also claimed better GPS positioning in urban areas among other improvements. As for the original Trekker, an updatd version 3.1 is planned for next month which will support more receivers, automatic rerouting, and improved announcements of nearby content. New maps will also soon be available for both products. All of this will be free for existing customers, according to the press release.
