APH and Sendero Colaberating on PC Maps Enhancements

APH's 2010 annual report reveals a new colaberation between APH and the Sendero Group regarding forthcoming PC map software, with features similar to Sedero Maps but including several enhancements.
In a quote from the report, "In a new product proposal, Sendero
indicated that more advanced and proprietary features could be easily added to their
existing software to produce the product of interest to APH. In a contract between
APH and Sendero, arrangements for purchasing the finished software product from Sendero
were made." These enhancements include visual indications of various map features which could be used in teaching various mobility skills. APH expects to release an initial version of this maps product within the next year and expand upon the concept in 2012. Check the report for more details on this and other projects.
